Please join Pittsburgh Social Venture Partners
as we focus on:

Strengthening mentoring relationships
for at-risk youth

Join us in an experiential evening of skill-building, as we together explore the best practices for strengthening mentoring relationships. Colleen Fedor of the Mentoring Partnership of SW PA, Alicia Andrews of the United Way, Vanessa German of Love Front Porch and Junlei Li of the Fred Rodger's Company will be among the resources helping us to navigate the mentoring landscape in our community.  By evenings end, we will emerge with insights on how to best strengthen mentoring relationships -- which can be applied to almost everything we do.

Please spread the word and bring a friend!

Social Venture Partners Pittsburgh

Social Venture Partners Pittsburgh (SVP) is a network of people who connect passion and purpose. Partners give their skills, their time, and their resources to support innovative nonprofits in Allegheny County. Specifically, partners select a pressing need for at-risk youth in the community and provide grants and technical assistance to organizationally strengthen key nonprofits working to alleviate those constraints.   Similarly, SVP collaborates with other community resources to leverage our investments toward greater impact.

SVP's model for putting these ideals into action include “pitch” events, where nonprofit leaders of leading-edge programs are coached on how to effectively message their programs and given a platform to be heard.   What results is networking, grant-making and relationship-building among the nonprofits and the greater Pittsburgh philanthropic collective.

We call this engaged giving —working together to unleash potential within our community.
